How does using the Reach and Wash system save the customer money?

In the window cleaning industry prices are based on risk as well as the time needed to complete the work. The greater the risk the higher the price. Also the hiring of expensive cherry pickers and using abseiling techniques for tall buildings inflates prices greatly. Because there is no risk and no high access equipment required and because the reach & wash system is typically 40% faster than traditional window cleaning, we can pass on these savings to our clients.

Is it safe?

Yes. The reach & wash operators work from the safety of the ground and no ladders or other equipment are used. The poles are not heavy (made from either glass fibre, carbon fibre or a hybrid mix of glass & carbon fibre) & are easily handled by one operator.

What method do you use to clean the windows?

On top of the pole is a nylon brush head with a small channel that jets out a constant supply of pure water. First we clean the frames and then the glass by moving the brush head over them. We then rinse the windows and frames and leave to dry to a spot free finish.

How can pure water not leave any marks or droplets?

Unlike bottled water, rain or tap water which contains mineral deposits, pollution, calcium and chemicals our water has every element filtered out and is completely pure. We do this by using a reverse osmosis filtration process. The end result is 100% laboratory graded pure water. Because of its purity, quite simply no deposits can be left on the windows which are always spot free.

How do you get a supply of water and where do you treat it?

Our water is treated on our premises using a 5 stage filtration process. When this process is completed we transfer the water into our specially adapted vehicle mounted holding tanks. We then transport this water on site where it is pumped through the poles onto brush heads and ultimately onto the area to be cleaned.

Are any chemicals used during this filtration process?

No. All filters contain natural elements such as salt, resin beads and carbon sediment and are environmentally safe.

Can the water damage or stain my property or building?

No. More damage is caused from pollution in the rain or atmosphere than is caused by our pure water. Building structure, wall & window frame paint, roof tiles or slates are not affected by the reach & wash system.
